What we install
Six specialisms that overlap more often than people expect. Most jobs we quote involve at least two of them.
TV Wall Mounting & Setup
We mount and commission televisions so the finished result looks like it was designed into the room, not added to it. Cables are chased into the wall or routed through purpose-fitted trunking, brackets are structurally fixed to the correct substrate, and every set is levelled against the room rather than the eye. Sources are connected, tuned and tested before we leave.
Benefits
- Fully concealed cabling — no trailing HDMI or power leads
- Correct fixings for plasterboard, masonry, stud and dot-and-dab walls
- Laser-levelled to the room, not just the bracket
- Sources connected, tuned and demonstrated before handover
- Heat-safe mounting above fireplaces and log burners
Ideal for
- Living room feature walls and chimney breasts
- Bedroom and kitchen articulated-arm installs
- Office reception and boardroom displays
- Pub, gym and waiting-room screen arrays
CAT6 Data Cabling Systems
Wi-Fi is only ever as good as the cable feeding it. We design and install structured CAT6 and CAT6a networks — outlets terminated to plate, cables run back to a central patch panel, every link labelled at both ends and certified for throughput. The result is a network a future engineer can read at a glance and extend without guesswork.
Benefits
- Full gigabit — and 10Gb-capable on CAT6a runs
- Central patch panel with both ends labelled to a documented schedule
- Every link tested and certified, results supplied on completion
- Cables run in containment, not draped or stapled
- Headroom built in for cameras, APs and future desks
Ideal for
- Whole-home networks during renovation or first fix
- Home offices needing a stable wired uplink
- Office fit-outs and desk-position moves
- Feeding IP CCTV, door entry and access points
Wireless Access Point Installation
Mesh kits and plug-in extenders halve your bandwidth at every hop. We take the other approach: survey the building, place ceiling or wall-mounted access points where the coverage maps say they belong, and feed each one over its own PoE cable run. Devices roam between APs seamlessly on a single network name — the connection simply follows you.
Benefits
- Site survey first — placement driven by measurement, not guesswork
- PoE-fed over CAT6: one cable for data and power, no local socket
- Seamless roaming on one SSID across the whole building
- Discreet ceiling and wall mounting with concealed cabling
- Guest networks kept separate from your private devices
Ideal for
- Large or thick-walled homes where Wi-Fi drops off
- Garden offices, annexes, workshops and outbuildings
- Offices, salons and cafés offering guest Wi-Fi
- Warehouses and units needing handheld-device coverage
CCTV & Camera Systems
Most CCTV disappoints for the same two reasons: the cameras are in the wrong places, and nobody checked what the footage actually looks like at 2am. We survey sight lines first, mount cameras at heights that capture faces rather than the tops of heads, and run each one back over its own PoE cable to a recorder. Every camera is then checked after dark, because that is when it matters.
Benefits
- Camera positions chosen for identification, not just coverage
- Night footage checked on site — not assumed from the spec sheet
- PoE over CAT6: one cable per camera, no local power needed
- Local recording you own, with remote viewing on phone or tablet
- Cabling concealed and cameras sited to resist tampering
Ideal for
- Home security around doors, drives and side access
- Monitoring outbuildings, yards and parking areas
- Shops, salons and offices needing a reliable record
- Replacing older analogue systems with usable resolution
Video Intercom & Door Entry
A video intercom is the one piece of kit people use every single day, so it has to be quick, clear and reliable. We install wired and IP door stations with indoor monitors where you actually want them, plus phone notifications if you want them. Door release can be integrated with existing locks and gates, and we set the whole thing up so answering the door takes one tap, not three.
Benefits
- Wired and PoE systems — no batteries to change, no dropouts
- Clear two-way audio and a wide enough lens to see a parcel on the step
- Integrates with electric door releases, gates and existing locks
- Phone notifications when you want them, ignorable when you don't
- Indoor monitors sited and levelled where they get used
Ideal for
- Front doors where the hallway is a long way from the gate
- Gated driveways and shared entrances
- Flats and HMOs needing multiple indoor stations
- Offices, salons and studios controlling access during the day
Satellite & Aerial Systems
Satellite and aerial work is judged on two things: signal quality and how the installation survives its first winter. We align to metered signal rather than approximation, seal every external penetration properly, and bring the feed indoors through neat, weathered cable routes. Multi-room distribution is amplified and split correctly so the last outlet performs like the first.
Benefits
- Metered alignment for maximum signal quality and rain-fade margin
- Weather-sealed penetrations and UV-stable external cable
- Multi-room distribution correctly amplified and splitter-matched
- Discreet bracket placement chosen with the elevation in mind
- Existing dishes and aerials re-aligned, repaired or relocated
Ideal for
- New dish and aerial installations
- Poor picture, break-up or weather-related signal loss
- Feeding satellite or Freeview to additional rooms
- Relocating equipment for roofing, rendering or extension work
Not sure which you need?
Describe the problem rather than the solution — poor Wi-Fi upstairs, a TV that needs moving, a picture that breaks up in the rain. We’ll tell you what actually fixes it.
